LA RECENSIONE

The world is ours, or rather a manual of self-defense and legitimization of one's "art" and one's person.

Listened to it just once, all at once, like Endless Beat by Eros. Because characters like this Tizi(an)o don't deserve more than two listens.

Without doing a track-by-track, I'll just describe its essence: too many duets, some really embarrassing (Ambra and Thasup) and inappropriate (Sting), and even Roberto Vecchioni can't raise the album's level with this decent swing on myths.

The rest is a defense against homophobia, social media haters, depression. Practically a record ad personam, with the complicity of "TV, Sorrisi e canzoni" and the regime's radios.

Even though "La prima festa del papà" and "Il paradiso dei bugiardi" are slightly better, and Caparezza puts a patch (it rhymes), "La vita splendida," much (de)sung in the media, doesn't convince me any further, not to mention the other songs, a compendium of banality where, let's acknowledge this hands down, the voice moves well and sometimes very well.

But it's not enough to save "the world." It seems like going back 21 years, when, at half the age he is now, "in the middle of the journey of his life," he sang "Xdono" and "Rosso relativo." Then somewhat credible, now decidedly outdated and overrated. It's no coincidence that the first two albums have non-obvious titles, whereas from the third album in 2006 to today, they all have clichés and banalities made especially for the average user. Next album title? "The sea is salty!"

Summary by Bot

This review critiques Tiziano Ferro's album Il mondo è nostro for its excessive and poorly matched duets, clichéd themes, and overall lack of originality. Despite strong vocal performances, the album is seen as outdated and overrated when compared to Ferro's earlier work. Some tracks offer slight relief but do not elevate the overall experience. The album struggles to break free from banalities aimed at the average listener.
