Tiziana Ghiglioni

Italian jazz singer noted for jazz rearrangements of Italian songs. Began after workshops with arranger Gaslini in 1979. The album Tenco Project won the Tenco Award in 1994.

On the Tenco Project Ghiglioni was accompanied by Gian Luigi Trovesi, Paolo Fresu and Umberto Petrin. She won the Tenco Award in 1994 and the album initiated a cycle of jazz reinterpretations of Italian repertoire.
