This time I want to go all out, my review is intentionally dangerous (no stars-no audience, that's often how it works...). But I would still like to thank in advance those who remain here to read it, hoping that my grammatical dyslexia (I don't know if it's due to the fact that I'm in the third year of classical high school, but I tend to invent rather cacophonous and useless terms (nothing compared to the master wrecker anyway) and to stretch the broth with an inappropriate manner, (which by the way is happening right now (therefore I advise you to start reading again from "grammatical dyslexia" and skip the parentheses) does not imply that this is too difficult to read (read: impossible).

So let's start with the presentations: I am 17 years old and I am not crazy at all, maybe someone sometimes has called me “a character,” but I do not boast about it, why should I, it seems to me that this definition implies some sort of mockery... so don't give too much importance to the nickname I've chosen, thank you...

Well, at this point I can start talking about the album in question, autochthonously produced, from the first (delirious) to the last (always delirious) track, by Tirriddiliu (it's the stage name, of course), a guy of, I don't know! about twenty years old I believe, originating from my village (whose name I won't reveal) who also was a student of my father (music teacher) and in fact it is for this reason that I know him. I don't know him that well actually, besides a few brief chats about electronic composition and some playing together with my father, I haven't shared much more with him, and it's a shame, because Dario "Tirriddiliu" Sanfilippo once promised me to bring some software to start composing (besides teaching me the basics of the trade obviously), and I'm still waiting for him, but I trust that sooner or later he will arrive, perhaps to give my father another freshly baked disc from him... So we were saying Tirriddiliu in question, listening to his music, he would seem almost a dark, hostile, alien character, and yes why not, maybe a bit crazy... so much so that if I had never met him I would have immediately put aside his CDs... because, it’s worth saying, the pieces of the aforementioned self-deviant conglomerate have neither head nor tail, this is pure, simple yet profound heart-pounding electronic ambient, where no sound is normal and recognizable as such (in the titles of the various songs "invisible" instruments such as the piano, the drum, the flute and the trumpet make an appearance), but everything is distorted in a relentless and unrecognizable way to give a sense of intangible and alienation from the surrounding world.

No, it is certainly not an easy record to digest because it’s 38 minutes and 45 seconds of electronic experimentation like you've never heard before, 38 minutes of free-wheel compositional madness, devoid of any logical scheme... do not expect to find anything resembling Eno's ambient nor at least S.A.W. vol. 2 which I appreciated so much in the other (horrendously ironic, unfortunately) review, think instead of any "Danny The Dog" by Massive Attack, in a sauce ten times more difficult, and you might have a vague idea of what will unfold before your ears during the listening of the album, a listening that, though being extremely difficult, is nonetheless within everyone’s reach (yeah right) due to the fairly short duration of the eponymous, not even 39 minutes.

The best definition to describe this hodgepodge of sounds is indeed "self-deviant conglomerate", because that's what you'll repeat during the whole (hypothetical) listening of this behemoth... in short, how to say, it's a bit of an album for masochists, because I still haven't understood if he's a genius (Dario) and I'm a poor fool not to comprehend it, or if maybe he's a madman and I'm perfectly right to shout: "WHAT IS THIS STUFF! IT'S UNSUSTAINABLE, HELP!" anyway happy listening, then, and have courage, you'll need it a lot!

p.s.: not even this time can it be understood if I like the record or not, but darn, this is a record that surpasses people’s tastes, because I don't think there's anyone who among their tastes includes this stuff...(good the first time)

p.p.s.: Tirriddiliu has made other stuff too, but there he has done nothing but replicate himself...

ppps: beautiful website, you guys are great, but cursed spring and the wrecker are too far ahead, what people... happy listening, and don't think I made it all up, it's all true!
