Desperation and pain written in bold letters on the wall of sound, a color that mixes ash and blood. From France comes the carrarmatonoise Time To Burn, and they are really here to burn. Not too fast, one hopes. Hatred winds through the grooves of this record.
The disdain for light is "Nayeli" an exposed electrical wire, huge discharges of ultra-distorted guitars, inhuman screams, proceeding "unsano", without pause, without mercy until the end of its piercing 5 minutes. From the mountains of madness, the sound descends, stretching towards a sidereal hell of "Emma Peel", where the guitars become increasingly harsh, introducing the voice that arrives with exasperated calm, until the heart of the track, where they show all their love for post-rock, the pain plucks strings of another kind, sweet the melody turns into a mad monster, slow and powerful. "Tormenta" is madhouse-worthy, a very filthy noise intro, starting at two hundred thousand an hour, hardcore gulping down kilos and kilos of amphetamines, broken, powerful, very fast rhythms, the snare drum in nervous convulsions, noise interlude, futurism of hatred exploding again in a SlayerNeurosian hybrid mess. I highly recommend the schizoid crescendo of "Isle Of Men", a distillation of instrumental despair aimed at self-destruction.
The doctor would suggest it for punching something you've wanted to throw away for a long time, such as your mental health, in case you have no use for it.
