LA RECENSIONE

Well, here I am, with my second review… This time, however, I will try to be more precise, focusing strictly on the album and not drifting into more reflective discussions like what happened with the first review…

So, this is the album I chose, "Young And Crazy", by Tigertailz... Produced in 1987 and it is the first album officially released… In a word, what came out is Glam, both for their music, where there are points of innovation, and their crazy style, of course… The album opens with "Star Attraction", and already the title gives an idea of something brilliant and eccentric, like a shower of glitter, falling on a black velvet mantle, like that of the night in a starry sky, and it is indeed a star attraction that of the first track, a relentless rhythm and a wonderfully different voice from the usual, that of the singer Steevi Jaimz…

Then comes the second track, "Hollywood Killer", the title repeated at the beginning of the song insistently enters our ears, which are then involved in a guitar loop that recurs in the chorus accompanied, or rather, chased by the voice. Track 3 is "Ballerina", a beautiful and short musical piece, sweet as honey that seems to act as a bridge, a divider for a song that becomes harder, it's "Livin’ Without You", followed by "Shameless", where a punk nuance is perceived, which becomes more evident in the next track, "City Kidz". Song number 7 "Shoot To Kill", is, according to the band itself, not very homogeneous compared to the whole album, but the following "Turn Me On", "She’s Too Hot" and "Young And Crazy" become fast-paced again. Finally, the album closes with "Fall In Love Again", a slower song, where the beautiful voice of the vocalist is remarkable…

By listening to the CD, you can feel all the energy, all the vitality of the band and their engaging style…
