Not bad these guys from Foligno: only one album under their belt before this EP of 4 tracks and they've already been to the States three times, the last being this year at the legendary South by Southwest in Austin. There's a good reason for this, and perhaps it's time we also realized what we have at home: Tiger! Shit! Tiger! Tiger! rediscover the original meaning of the term “emo,” which is not bangs but emotions, strong and true (as evidenced by the title track, "Whispers").
Their roots are firmly planted in the '90s, but the group also has noise, post-punk ("VV Fake") in their hearts, something of Interpol and Bloc Party in their ears (but "Vampire" beats the latest works of both), and the Fall in their feet ("Wheelers"). Last but not least, the artwork is handled by Alessandro Baronciani of Altro, who, as many know, is also a talented comic book artist. Since the CD is short (note that there's also a cassette and mp3 version available), the anticipation for the second album is quite high. If T!S!T!T! have improved so much in just one year, what will they be capable of? I hope to find out soon.
