Third work for the veteran trio of the Californian psychobilly scene. An elaborate album composed mostly of melancholy, aggressiveness, darkness, and love themes that are sometimes happy, romantic, and at other times tragic and dramatic.

Strong influences can be heard from the '80s "dark", country, punk, and obviously rock n' roll! Therefore, an album that makes various genres its own and captures the ear of different people.

Highly recommended to everyone and not just fans of psychobilly and the modest band.

NOTE: In this album, the official drummer Fred Hell did not play because he couldn't perform due to being shot in four different parts of the body in 2003. He was temporarily replaced by the technician, Mike Fasano.

Tracklist Lyrics and Videos

01   Prelude: Death of a Tiger (00:53)

02   Ghost Tigers Rise (02:09)

03   Wander Alone (03:44)

04   Santa Carla Twilight (04:44)

05   Ghostfire (04:02)

Unseen to the eyes but ablaze in your heart
It scorches from inside just as it haunts
It is unknown to young lovers intoxicated by spring
But when they feel its icy flames they'll know everything

It lives where love has died, this ghostfire
Where poison flowers bloom
It sears from beyond sighs
In the graveyard of promises
It burns right throught the night

Only a lover lost burns in ghostfire (Ghostfire)

Lovers sprurned took their revenge, lie in cells tonight
Once consumed they turn to ash in its cold blue light
Those who can't take the pain
They extinguish the spark of life
For others it comforts, a companion in the night

It lives where love has died, this ghostfire
Where poison flowers bloom
It sears from beyond sighs
In the graveyard of promises
It burns right throught the night

Only a lover lost burns in ghostfire
Only a lover lost burns in ghostfire
Only a lover lost burns in ghostfire (Ghostfire)

06   Rose of the Devil's Garden (03:56)

07   Atomic (03:16)

At the end of the world, I suddenly feel alive
There's nothing in the world like a Southern California night
I always hoped that someday, everything would be alright...
And now someday has arrived tonight

We're speeding through the city tonight
We'll hit this town, just like a bomb
For this one moment, the world is ours
And still we're waiting for the atomic fire

Black palm trees sway, they whisper to the purple sky
Close your eyes and feel the ghosts of Hollywood gone by
Still the dreamers come, still the dreams are left to die
Behind the lights a necropolis lies

08   What Happens? (03:07)

09   Through the Darkness (03:05)

10   The Long Road (04:31)

11   Calling (04:09)

I hear them calling to me from another world
Look at the place you live they say
Oh won't you join us in a world that's without pain?
Leave behind your misery

I cannot listen withought longing
To let go of my burdens sounds so sweet
Reasons to hold on there are many -
This I must remember when the sirens call to me

I hear them calling from beyond
From beyond, oh no no...
Sometimes I feel I can't go on
I hear them calling from beyond
From beyond, oh no no...
Must find the strength to carry on
I need you with me

When I awake their call still resonates
In sadness from unremembered dreams
And in the prison of this longing
I'm waiting for parole, waiting to be free

I know that my time here has not yet come
There's still so much that's left to do and say
I know that my work here is not done
But I'll go to them someday

12   Swift Silent Deadly (02:46)

We're the masters of the night
Both death and glory on our side
Mess with the fucking best
And get fucked up like all the rest
You won't hear us when we're coming...

We're back again
We're on the scene
And when we strike it's swift, silent deadly
When we strike it's swift, silent - deadly!

We seek, strike, destroy
Like tigers born to kill
For those who just can't understand
We'll let you know the fucking deal
You won't hear us when we're coming...

13   Sea of Fire (05:13)
