The Profile

Thomas Wolfe (1900–1938) was an American novelist best known for Look Homeward, Angel and other large, autobiographical novels.

Born October 3, 1900 in Asheville, North Carolina; died September 15, 1938. Major works include Look Homeward, Angel (1929), Of Time and the River (1935), and You Can't Go Home Again (posthumous).

The single DeBaser review praises Orgogliosa sorella morte as a "leaden and poetic tale" that explores death through four approaches. It highlights introspection, the interplay of tangible and dreamlike sensitivity, and frames events within an indifferent American civilization. The reviewer gives the work a 5/5 rating.
