Think Tree was a Boston quintet (Krishna Venkatesh, Paul Lanctot, Peter Moore, Jeff Biegert, Will Ragano) active 1989–1993. They released the single "Hire a Bird" (1989), the EP "Eight/Thirteen" (1990) and the album "Like The Idea" (1992) before splitting the following year.

After Think Tree split, members Peter Moore, Jeff Biegert and Will Ragano formed the band Count Zero.

DeBaser hosts a single detailed review by hal9000 focused on Think Tree's 1992 album Like The Idea. The review praises the band's eclectic mix of world music, funk, industrial and psychedelic touches while noting a cold, cerebral production. Think Tree released a 1989 single, a 1990 EP and the 1992 LP before splitting the following year.

For:Fans of experimental and eclectic alternative rock, world/industrial fusion listeners

The sky of rock has always been crossed by meteors and shooting stars, groups that have released 1 or 2 decidedly well-made albums and then suddenly disintegrated in the atmosphere, leaving a trail of light that often disappeared quickly.
