"The Fall Ep" is the new studio work by The Wisers, a Neapolitan group active since 2007. The desire to experiment and numerous lineup changes have given a very different direction to the band's initial garage-punk sound, which has evolved into a genre difficult to classify, rich in references and musical experiments, yet managing to take into account the song form and highlight classic structures and melodies.

Hardcore, post-rock, pop, and even folk, psychedelia, and a certain 70s vibe coexist in harmony in the five tracks that make up "The Fall ep" (which, like the previous chapters of The Wisers' discography, is available for free online). Hardcore outbursts and massive doses of groove are contrasted with moments bordering on ambient and noise.

An excellent production, the immediacy in execution, and the various sound nuances, so different from each other, yet perfectly comfortable within this work are surely among the strengths of this Ep, which despite being the band's third work (after "Spaghetti Breaks and Puke!" and "The Less You Know The More You Live") can almost be considered a new debut.
