EP last act of the Unicorns. Their very low-fi and erratic pop patchwork is fully appreciated only in the first track “2014”: monolithic casio notes spread over a drum set that seems made of pots and pan lids, random bursts of hyper-distorted guitar adding some drive, and the voice that, with the same logic, is front and center one moment, and super-filtered in the background the next, always lazy and drawn-out. The inconclusive vocal melody pleases me a lot because you never know where it's going.

The second track “Emasculate the Masculine”, a title stolen from a chapter of Tataogg's secret world domination plan, half revolves around a too Britpop-ish and somewhat bland guitar line and therefore everything feels a bit bland, in the second part there’s a bit of fun with the usual casio.

The outtake “Evacuate The Vacuous”, a title stolen from a chapter of my secret plan for the conquest of the Peloponnese, is little more than a guitar-voice fart.

Great cover art as usual.

Venditti is lame and so is anyone who doesn’t say it... damn, I think I need to change my diaper, cheers!
