American surf/garage band from Minneapolis, best known for the 1963/1964 hit "Surfin' Bird" (which reached No. 4 on the Billboard chart). Original lineup included Tony Andreason, Dan Winslow, Steve Wahrer and Bob Reed.

The band's hit "Surfin' Bird" was created by combining two Rivingtons songs; the record reached No. 4 on the Billboard sales chart. The group released a 1964 LP titled from the hit and split at the end of 1967. In 1994 Sundazed released "The Great Lost Trashmen Album!", compiling singles, unreleased sides and demos.
