LA RECENSIONE

A few months after the release of the debut mini CD, this bold musician with a haunting appearance returns to publish his visions and deliriums. For those who have not yet been introduced to the work of this young man with eyes painted black, it's best to start with a brief premise: he presents himself as a "ghost of the city," wandering the streets in silence, penetrating the thoughts and memories of those he brushes against, passing by to then recount them by putting them into music.

Even for this second online release, we are talking about a mini CD containing 4 tracks, with a total timing of about twenty minutes, published once again under the Polish netlabel Rain and still available for free download from the overseas web archive.

The style of the songs remains faithful to the debut, perhaps also due to the short time elapsed between the composition of one album and the other, yet it presents some interesting deviations that mark a certain growth of the artist. Notably, among other things, the sound is more refined and of better quality, revealing a study in this direction, making the listening more pleasant, and a more organic structuring of the pieces, which thus come closer to the coherence one expects from a professional production or one that aspires to be such.
Of particular note are the excellent melodic inserts: once again the piano takes the lead, and does not fail to break and amaze, even in the most distorted and dark pieces, with sweet and profound interludes with romantic nuances.

In conclusion, this album maintains the characteristics that positively impressed in its predecessor, but improves upon certain aspects, thus advancing the artist's growth a step further and gifting us with another half hour of pleasant listening and "spectral visions".
