The Smithereens

American power-pop band formed in the early 1980s in Carteret, New Jersey. Core lineup included Pat DiNizio (vocals), Jim Babjak (guitar), Mike Mesaros (bass) and Dennis Diken (drums); Severo Jornacion replaced Mesaros in 2006.
