THE REVIEW

Louis Freese, a half-breed from Los Angeles precisely Mexican/Cuban, is a rhyme-spitting devil from Los Angeles with a very personal style in the way he interprets Rap. . a style to say the least original due also to that nasal voice almost impossible to imitate. Better known as B. Real of Cypress Hill along with brothers Jack and Gustavo Gonzalez, respectively Jacken and Duke from the Pico-Union area, a very GTA neighborhood of LA, they represent the Psycho Realm reality that does not differ much from the style of Cypress, and if the latter boast skulls and marijuana leaves, the logo of Psycho Realm is a gas mask with a hat, just as their rap, also their logo, therefore, evokes a poisonous society and even more harmful if lived in a certain way.

The album is marked 2000 and, in addition to the mentioned MCs, features TRT on turntables (DJ) and Willie Bobo of Cypress on percussion. The sound of this album does not stray much from dj Muggs' productions, although the latter does not appear as a groove man since all the beats present are marked Psycho Realm. It seems like listening to the soundtrack of the Chicano army armed with bandanas, tattoos, and guns in hand as they march through the city streets... city of Los Angeles that takes the lead and more precisely I think you have understood this is the sound of the barrio. But let's get to the songs. . . the album opens with "The Crazy Area" . . the crazy area. . well, great beat and more than engaging chorus it feels like listening to the delirium of a psychopath going to the beat on an even more insane sound. . . it is one of the album's most beautiful tracks with really great metrics and very original flow by the two MCs, Jacken harder and more emphatic in closing the metrics, Duke smoother but at the same time effective and engaging and very technical, also the epilogue of the track is beautiful as it concludes with the entrance of a fantastic and very epochal beat . . the second track "Order Through Chaos" is the best of the record. . it drags you into a dark suggestive atmosphere and projects you directly to the streets of their city at night among Madonnas painted on the walls and cholos in tank tops. . in short, among their street team. . the metrics are really powerful, of excellent craftsmanship, and the scratches are also excellent, in short, a really great track to immerse yourself in and let go. . it continues with pieces of great respect among which particularly noteworthy: "Enemy Of The State", "Tragedy.com" and "Street Platoons".

I recommend the record to anyone who wants to listen to something original and take a moment's break from listening to their favorite genre. . as well as to lovers of the less mainstream side of Cypress Hill.
