Finally, after three years of waiting, The Prowlers return with this new release "Re-Evolution", a work that seals their status as an established band, especially since they have just returned from their first European tour for the launch of the album.

The album opens with the enjoyable opener "Parting Words", which serves as a springboard for the first big surprise "Red Smoke", with the powerful performance of the rhythm duo Cappabianca/Vincis providing the foundation for the two axes Napo/Schirato. The track is a 200-an-hour wrong-way drive... beautiful and engaging. Barely time to catch your breath and you'll find yourself immersed in two great power tracks "The Real Me" and "Firefly", which after a few listens will have you singing at the top of your lungs alongside Fabio "Bruce" Minchillo, in my opinion one of the best voices in the Italian metal scene.

Finally, we catch our breath with "Wonderful Creatures", a piece imbued with prog influences highlighted by De Stefano's excellent work on keyboards, a true ace up the sleeve in the band's sound. There is also room for a splendid ballad "Do You Feel The Same", made even more interesting by the guest Martina Pelosi, with a splendid and sensual voice, takes the band to very high levels in the international arena (if this track were played on radio networks, I'm ready to bet it would be a great success). The instrumental "Insomnia" of exquisite craftsmanship introduces "The Profession Part 1 Home", a truly very interesting piece, where the compositional skills come fully to the fore and leave me speechless, incredible.

"The Prayer", another prog track that gives chills. Then we return to power with the excellent "1001 Lies", a track with reminiscences of the eighties. It's now the turn of what is probably the masterpiece of this album "De Bello Gallico VI-VIII", an incredible epic-metal work enhanced by Latin chants and choruses, intriguing atmospheres that throw you, with eyes half-closed, in the midst of the Roman Empire. Closing the album is "La Belle Ferronniere", an acoustic and highly tasteful piece, where the notes of a splendid guitar accompany the sweet voice of guest Martina Pelosi, another true surprise of this album.

"Re-Evolution" is once again produced by the wise Tommy Hansen and the perfect recording is proof of that. For the first time with the German label Pure Steel Records, this third album by the Romans "The Prowlers" shows they never miss a beat; on the contrary, every time they make a leap forward in sound innovation and artistic maturity, this album never tires, on the contrary, with each listen it satisfies more and more, definitely a work not to be missed.
