THE REVIEW

The complete works of the "Prodigy"! The pinnacle of the group both musically and artistically. Millions of records sold worldwide and No. 1 in almost every chart. The quintessential fusion of dance and rock, or rather technorock! That crab enclosed in that cover was the emblem of a decaying London and the underground youth revolt that traveled the globe.

Intense, heavy, infamous, and full of energy on which many of us have vented so much anger and happy moments. Unconventional music videos and extraordinary concerts for this group that today, in my humble opinion, could end their career leaving behind one of the most famous albums in history. . . . . . . (perhaps I would also include "Music For The Jilted Generation," another great one). A pity that today there's a lack of originality!

56 minutes for ten perfect tracks that follow the same logical thread without ever boring you. "Firestarter," "Smack My Bitch Up," "Breathe," "Mindfields" and "Funky Shit" are absolutely spectacular. . . . . . no need to describe them, anyone who loves dance music hardly forgets them. After almost 10 years, this record is still going strong and there's still someone singing them!

Of course, the success then brought many headaches, arguments, long breaks for reflection, a follow-up lacking originality, and there are even those who left after making a lot of money. A piece of history that lasted 15 years until now and perhaps will never happen again. What a shame! Anyway, sometimes looking back to the past is very beautiful, and this is an example!

For those 55 minutes I felt DIVINE.

 10 songs, 10 milestones, 10 seals.

Every time I put this record in the stereo, I feel like dancing like crazy.

If you haven’t heard it yet, listen to it because it will make you jump not just 2 but 500 times around the house and also outside.

A CD that hardens your nerves and makes the veins in your neck swell, providing little oxygen to your cerebellum.

'Breathe'. More than a breath. This is a great spit in the face.

"Smack my bitch up overwhelms you, the hoarse screams of the great master of ceremonies Keith Flint break in to violently disturb your tranquility and leave you no escape for the entire duration of the record."

"The fat one of the region is... a banging album by the Prodigy, released at the right time, post-produced sublimely and undoubtedly a masterpiece in its own way."

"Smack My Bitch Up is, in my opinion, one of this group’s most successful tracks."

"It’s a good album nonetheless, but in my opinion not up to the previous ones."
