THE REVIEW

The Prodigy are back... AND WHAT A COMEBACK! Unfortunately, this album has some tracks that don't really thrill me (*they don't thrill me*, but if you like them, AMEN, it's just my opinion). The ones I don't like much are: "Roadblox," which somewhat recalls Skrillex's Brostep, and "Rebel Radio." Now let's move on to the tracks that truly matter.
We start with a very strong Title Track, at the beginning featuring the usual "female little voice" sung by "Martina Topley Bird" "The day Is My Enemy, The Night Is My Friend" before it explodes with a "DOWN!" and from there the track is really tough, in short, we start off strong.
Other worthy tracks are: the fierce "Wall Of Death," "Wild Frontier" with a really nice intro and regular Breakbeats, and my favorite from the album: "Rok Weiler," which is very punk. Then there's "Nasty," which is a decent track, Liam's solo in "Beyond the Deathray." Two particular tracks on this album are: the feat. with Sleaford Mods "Ibiza" and "Medicine." If after years they come back with an album like this, it means they still have a lot to say. Obviously, they couldn't create a masterpiece like "Music For The Jilted Generation," to me the best.

The Prodigy returns with The Day Is My Enemy, delivering a strong album with tough and punk-influenced tracks. While a couple of songs don't fully resonate, highlights like the title track, Wall Of Death, and Rok Weiler showcase their enduring energy. Collaborations with artists like Martina Topley Bird and Sleaford Mods add unique flavors. Though not a masterpiece like Music For The Jilted Generation, the album proves the band's continued relevance.
