The Prodigy celebrate 20 years of career with this beautiful live CD/DVD or CD/Blu-ray and reaffirm themselves in the global dance scene despite the successes and controversies, despite not having reinvented themselves much over time. They are still the same and that's how people like them, for all those who love Big Beat and old school Techno. After the success of "Invaders Must Die," they give a boost to their sparse production, despite the years on the music scene with this magnificent live released in 2011. Arriving in stores as a surprise, it's the first after all, and it's strange that it wasn't missed, considering they are live stage animals.
"World's On Fire," though not enriched with all their hits, remains equally a very good product that focuses more on the scenic and sound entertainment the band offers. In fact, it is recommended not only to fans but also to those who do not know them well enough live.
The CD and DVD include the evening at the Milton Keynes Bowl where The Prodigy play at home and their crowd cheers on the extreme party that pays homage to the messengers of the Rave-Party made in England. There are 17 tracks and it doesn't surprise me that there's not a single one from the fourth and bad album "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned," in fact, everything is perfect and goes down like oil even with the new "Omen," "Invaders Must Die," "Thunder," and "Warrior's Dance." Needless to say, the inevitable "Firestarter," "Breathe," "Smack My Bitch Up," and "Their Law," but I would have expected more with their older production, which is also the most beautiful. Especially with the first two albums.
However, the real surprise remains the revisitation of "Weather Experience," which with its hypnotic pass recalls those beautiful feelings from the album "Experience." A meticulously detailed performance and a must for reviewing and re-experiencing the dance music scene branded by the '90s, now lost but not forgotten, which made many of us dream. The Disc remains a blow to the liver because it will make you have fun and dance, Howlett and associates are always a guarantee even if they've also aged. Who knows if they have said goodbye to drugs nowadays, certainly the faces Maxim makes in this film will have you in stitches.
And now? Now all that's left is to pay them homage, but certainly also to spur them on because it's time for a new cycle to begin for them. They need a pinch of more innovation, with a new decade already started for new horizons. An album different from "Invaders Must Die"?
