The Outsiders were a Dutch rock band from Amsterdam active in the 1960s, led by singer Wally Tax. They are noted for their 1968 album C.Q. and their role in the Netherlands' freak-beat/psychedelic scene.

Polygram released C.Q. in 1968. A Pseudonym reissue (2001) adds five bonus tracks. Leader Wally Tax later pursued the Tax Free project (mentioned in contemporary sources and reviews).

Lewis Tollani's review celebrates The Outsiders' C.Q. as a late-60s freak-beat masterpiece. The review highlights the band's blend of garage, blues and psychedelic experimentation, cites Polygram's 1968 release and a 2001 Pseudonym reissue with bonus tracks. The writing connects the album to contemporaries from Zappa to Barrett.

For:Fans of 1960s psychedelic, freak-beat and garage rock; collectors of rare Dutch rock.
