THE REVIEW

"Sin And Lostness" by the Germans Lost Rivers is a black granite monolith.

Rabid paranoia screaming under a wall of sound of maniacal feedback in perpetual saturation that agonizes under the blows of a heavy mechanical drum.

The rude neighbors of A Place To Bury Strangers. Lost Rivers are less crowd-pleasing, less studied, dirtier, and wilder, always pushed to the limit, one step away from losing control and derailing completely.

A deafening wall of sound where remnants of old posters of the earliest amphetamine Loop, the Joy Division with all amplifier settings at maximum can still be recognized.

A mad race of black noise shoegaze with the specter of J. Curtis on vocals.
A neurasthenic sonic assault among the most convincing heard lately.

Summary by Bot

Sin And Lostness by The Lost Rivers is a fiercely intense and raw black noise shoegaze album. It features powerful maniacal feedback, mechanical drums, and an unrelenting sonic assault. The music is dirtier and wilder than similar artists, notably A Place To Bury Strangers, with hints of early Amphetamine Loop and Joy Division. Vocals evoke Ian Curtis in a desperate, neurasthenic style.
