Los Angeles-based punk band formed in 1983 after a move from Indiana, fronted by Pat Todd. Known for raw, three-chord punk that mixes rock'n'roll, country, blues and R&B. The group disbanded in 2004.

Frontman Pat Todd is the constant creative force. Early work produced by Chris D. (of the Flesheaters). Released on labels including Sympathy and Crypt (A Little Sex and Death was released by Crypt). Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips called them "an American institution."

Single DeBaser review celebrates The Lazy Cowgirls as a raw, masterful punk act. The review highlights A Little Sex and Death (1997) and places it between Ragged Soul (1995) and Rank Outsider (1999). Emphasis on loud, three-chord rock drawing from 50s–70s rock, country, blues and R&B.

For:Fans of raw punk, garage rock and classic rock'n'roll.

but thinking that those who don't know them are missing out on one of the most genuine, the roughest and most masterfully captivating punk acts ever to be around to shatter eardrums and assault amplifiers is simply the truth. I swear.
