British rock band led by Crispian Mills, formed after the end of Kula Shaker; released the debut album 1, 2, 3, 4.

Crispian Mills fronts The Jeevas; the group's debut album 1, 2, 3, 4 presents a guitar-bass-drums trio sound with clear 60s/70s influences and use of a Farfisa-style organ. The review notes that Indian influences present in Mills' earlier Kula Shaker work are absent. The record was distributed by Cowboy Musik Limited in a limited number of European countries (per the review).

Crispian Mills returns after Kula Shaker with The Jeevas and a stripped-down guitar-bass-drums sound. The debut album 1, 2, 3, 4 leans on 60s/70s Beatles/Beach Boys influences and Farfisa organ textures. Indian influences present in Mills' earlier work are absent here. "What Is It For?" is highlighted as a standout ballad. Overall seen as enjoyable though not highly original.

For:Fans of Kula Shaker, listeners of 60s-influenced guitar pop and British rock
