American family music group originally known as The Jackson 5; included Michael Jackson and his brothers. They left Motown and continued as The Jacksons on Epic Records.

The group began as The Jackson 5; after leaving Motown they recorded as The Jacksons for Epic. Michael Jackson went on to major solo success with albums such as Thriller and Bad.

A critical take on The Jacksons' album Victory: the reviewer praises a few tracks (notably "State Of Shock") but finds much of the album lacking the emotional simplicity of earlier Jackson5 work. Michael Jackson's solo success is noted as overshadowing the group's output.
