It is quite simple to predict the sound matter that constitutes an album by the Swedes: a disastrous and scorching auditory hell that moves between Hard - Punk'n'Roll slashes and a distinctly Glam-oriented aftertaste. We are at the end of 1998; the band is coming right off, in the previous two-year period, the release of their first two foundational full-length albums ("Supershitty To The Max!" and "Payin' The Dues") which immediately consecrated them as the best representatives of that Hard Rock revival that spread across the Scandinavian peninsula.

With this mini CD, they attempt for the first time to bring some order to their extremely disorderly discography scattered among a myriad of singles, compilations, various collaborations, and EPs; seven tracks make up the work. They once again draw inspiration, quite unabashedly, from the fierce and passionate noise of people like MC5, Stooges, New Bomb Turks, Damned; adding a heavy touch of wild personality.

Just mentioning the tracklist is enough to convey the magnitude and absolute "explosive" value of this heated twenty minutes: "Speedfreak" by Motorhead, "Heaven" by Sonic's Rendezvous Band (surely to the joy of brother Pinhead!!), "455 SD" by Radio Birdman... and here comes the moment of silence simply by mentioning such sonic entities. Not content with such stuff, they rightly add four tracks written by themselves, making this work one of the best releases of their entire career.

The title track, in my opinion, is the most successful song, thanks in particular to an ascending finale where the two chaotic guitars vibrate with sweaty passion for a wild and overwhelming Garage - Roll ride to be delivered to posterity.

And finally, it is impossible not to love a band like the Hellacopters, if only for the fact they have a keyboardist with a stage name like Boba Fett... LONG GONE LOSERS...

Ad Maiora.

Dressed in green, lookin´ mean,
Working for the government machine
Sad bastards, actin´ tough
Shut your mouth with them handcuffs
Move your ass you bleedin´ punk
I move my ass when I want and I was just a bit drunk
C´ mon, don´t you dare lock us up
Cuz when my time is done
I will tell you to shut up

Don´t tell me what I can & cannot do

Here I am and this how I live
But I ain´t takin´ no more than I give
Stand by your woman stand by your man
I stand by my woman with a gun in my hand

No I won´t stand there baby and take that shit
They had it comin´ honey and you know it
And the fire has been lit
