The Germs

The Germs were a Los Angeles punk band formed in 1977. Core members during their classic period included Darby Crash (Bobby Pyn, vocals), Pat Smear (guitar), Lorna Doom (bass) and Don Bolles (drums). Their 1979 LP GI is widely regarded in these reviews as a foundational hardcore punk record. Vocalist Darby Crash died on December 7, 1980.
