The Exploited are a Scottish punk band formed in 1979, fronted by vocalist Wattie Buchan. They are known for influential early albums such as Punks Not Dead and for a raw, aggressive hardcore/street-punk sound.

Formed in 1979 in Scotland. Frontman: Wattie Buchan. Seminal records include Punks Not Dead (1981) and Troops Of Tomorrow (1982). Later releases show stronger metal/thrash influences; last studio album of new material noted in reviews: 2003's Fuck the System.
