The Dead Texan is an audio/video collaboration between Adam Wiltzie (of Stars of the Lid) and visual artist Christina Vantzou, released as a self-titled album.

The project pairs Wiltzie's ambient, orchestral soundscapes (piano, strings, guitar manipulated and warped) with Vantzou's visual translations of emotional states. The release is presented as an audio/video album.
