American electronic duo formed by Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland; their 1997 debut album Vegas is widely regarded as a seminal Big Beat record. Subsequent releases mix big-beat roots with electro-house and vocal collaborations.

Originally a duo composed of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland. Ken Jordan stopped performing with the group in 2017; Scott Kirkland continues to perform and release music under the name The Crystal Method.

DeBaser hosts two reviews: one praising Vegas as a seminal Big Beat album and another giving a mixed but generally positive take on the later self-titled record. Reviews highlight nocturnal moods, trip-hop touches, and a shift toward electro-house and collaborations. Vegas is described as accessible yet dark; the self-titled album is seen as commercial but competent.

For:Fans of Big Beat, 90s electronic music, and listeners who like The Prodigy / Chemical Brothers-style dance rock.

Imagine the open and vast space, the fear of the infinite void, or the anger of a thousand dark streets, all of this is Vegas.

Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland prove they still have what it takes, and although they don't shine in creativity, they execute a work that would have certainly been better than a nostalgia operation, which, by recalling the sounds of the great '90s, would have only made a poor impression: it seems they really want to give a lesson to the many young DJs who pop up like mushrooms every day - Avicii and Martin Garrix, to name a few - churning out identical hit singles with the "put your hands up!" style.
