TCME is a trio consisting of two men and a girl (not part of the current lineup) who work in the medical field and have a passion for death metal. They wanted to pay homage to Carcass, mainly the seminal "Reek of Putrefaction". Right from the cover, the resemblance to the aforementioned masterpiece is evident, with the collage of autopsy photo remnants arranged to faithfully recreate the original artwork, and the rest follows suit. The sound is true Carcass in its early form (better recorded, to be clear) with the same vocal style and a very similar guitar sound, though the tracks are slightly longer (average 2:30 minutes). At times, there is a hint of technique and you can recognize tributes to "Symphonies of Sickness" in the tracks "Algor Mortis...", "Livor Mortis...", and "Y-Shaped...".
Needless to say, the lyrics are not only a tribute to the Masters but also a result of professional experience. In conclusion, if you love early Carcass, if for you death metal died in 1988, and/or you love bands with questionable originality, rush to get the CD.

Final warning: this work is to Carcass's first album what a chimpanzee, genetically, is to a human
