THE REVIEW

The history of world music sees the Corrs as the first group of talented and beautiful musician siblings. From the next album onwards, you will notice from the covers the great beauty of Andrea compared to her (not "worse") sisters. Andrea, the image of the group on stage and in videos, with a great voice, is followed in order of importance by Sharon, the violinist, Caroline, the drummer (the one to the left of Jim, the prettiest), and Jim, the guitarist, of whom I will speak if necessary.

The debut album moves in two directions that will, in one way or another, resonate in their subsequent records: on one side, Irish folk (six instrumental tracks) and on the other, an American pop song mixed with the folk of the land they come from (namely Ireland).

This is a warming-up album in anticipation of the next, which will bring much more in terms of success. Here, though in a minor tone, the first two classics included in the Corrs' history are remembered: namely "Forgiven, not forgotten" and "Runaway".
