While today's music scene is increasingly shifting towards the States, in England a great band has risen from the mud (nothingness), which I had the fortune to discover thanks to the famous word of mouth among friends and acquaintances. The Cooper Temple Clause are the umpteenth offspring of Radiohead, but they are not mere copycats devoid of ideas with empty heads; on the contrary, I would say they are quite original.

The six members astonish with the richness of styles and sounds that they skillfully blend together; besides guitars, there is also room for synthesizers, samplers, samples, and loops that are more or less recurring throughout the album, especially in 555-4823, instrumental and 100% electronic. They are sensational when they offer songs like "Did You Miss Me?", "Who Needs Enemies", "Let’s Kill Music", and the concluding "Murder Song"...

There's also the obligatory ballad "Digital Observation" which sounds very Archive. The lead singer's husky voice perfectly merges with their hypnotic, sharp, attentive, and meticulous music. It's up to you to decide whether to buy it, download it, or burn it... it's certain that I recommend you do one of these three things.

In the end, a schizophrenic album but full of (wonderful?) surprises.
