New Zealand band from Dunedin associated with the Dunedin Sound and Flying Nun Records; led by Martin Phillipps. Two glowing takes on The Chills: a kaleidoscopic love letter to their early Flying Nun era and a deep dive into 1990’s Submarine Bells. Expect jangly guitars, organ shimmer, sixties-tinted psychedelia, and environmental undercurrents. “Heavenly Pop Hit” lures you in; the rest goes deeper.
