Here I am again, writing a review, after a long time...

This album particularly captured my attention while I was exploring the electronic brothers, but let's start from the beginning.
Released in 1997, this LP was a launching pad in sales for the two, and overall, it is more than successful. In fact, for lovers of the genre, it can be proposed as a cult album where electronics and melody blend perfectly, creating an exciting and catchy mix.

It starts with "Block Rockin Beats," a song that to call catchy is an understatement; the sounds intertwine perfectly, and the result is a truly thrilling electro-house track.
It continues on the same line with "Dig Your Own Hole," another catchy track, quite similar to track No.1.
"Elektrobank" has a dark start, then flows into the band's characteristic electronic rhythm with a chorus repeated endlessly; the piece abruptly ends, and the rhythm that characterizes the last two minutes of this piece seems to be external to the rest of the song.

Noteworthy are "Setting Sun," a song where Noel Gallagher's voice perfectly merges with the electronic rhythms of the two brothers, "It Doesn't Matter," the track definitely with more house tendencies in this album, and finally the closing song: "The Private Psychedelic Reel," a long electronic ballad with "oriental" influences.

This record should probably be labeled as the band's best, definitely innovative, it will satisfy everyone, and lovers of the genre will surely be mesmerized by the rhythms that characterize the entire duration of the LP.
For those who don't own it yet, I urge you to buy this album immediately, also because it is now available at bargain prices.

Definitely a pillar in the history of electronics and a worthy chapter for music in general.
