If rock from the Los Angeles band The Bronx were taught in schools, there would be fewer posers. That's for sure, and let's take it as a fact.

Pure utopia. The Bronx will always remain a (relatively) niche band, given that they have been on a major label. And for us, all things considered, that's fine. After making us jump for joy with their first two works, these furious Americans are back on the music market with the third CD. Still self-titled. Still explosive. In fact, even more than the second. Here we have only fast, powerful, rough songs, but always meant to be sung at the top of your lungs. Matt Caughthran spits anger in every verse. This small and chubby character has incredible energy (live, I assure you, he's a phenomenon) and is definitely the trump card of these Los Angeles guys. Matt's voice fits perfectly into a plot of rock and post-hardcore that leaves you breathless.

"Knifeman" opens the CD with a hypnotic and very catchy riff. Then it's all uphill. Phenomenal! The tracks follow one another, and although they are quite similar to each other, the choruses will stamp themselves in your head never to leave. "Enemy Mind" is as powerful and fast as few others. Even the gaming world bigwigs have noticed The Bronx's potential. "Six Days A Week", one of the best tracks on the album, will, in fact, be on Guitar Hero 5. Not bad, in short. The choice for the first single and (insane) video fell on the beautiful "Young Bloods". Perfect choice.

Now, let's look each other in the eyes. We're not talking about a CD that will go down in history. Nor about an innovative or perfect work. The Bronx are perfect if you want fun, speed, and power with rough choruses to sing in the car or in the shower.

And you say that's not much?!?
