A black and white Tokyo building, a big screen with the artist's face, a tricolor lightning. This is how the cover of this "B-side" CD presents itself, which can be considered an EP, given its length of about 20 minutes for 4 tracks.

The group in question is composed of two people: one (Matt) is the soul, the founder, the one who wrote all the pieces and lyrics, and the other is a girl who often changes in live shows and stands behind a vintage drum machine.
The atmospheres recreated by the group's sound can be defined as baroque decadence, with keyboards, deep basses, and synthesized drums reminiscent of the most blatant 80s italo-disco style, a genre from which the Veronese dandy draws not little inspiration. Elements of the dark/wave scene to which the project is clearly linked are not absent.

The lyrics, some in Italian and others in English, are simple and quite "catchy", so much so that you often find yourself humming the chorus after listening; the themes of the lyrics are often introspective, or in any case very personal even when they don't seem so.. to really understand them, it would be necessary to spend a delightful evening with the schizophrenic author artist.
The titles of the CD already put us in the perspective of what we are going to listen to: "Ballando Su Valentina", "Orient Express", "Non Posso Aspettare Fino A Sabato Sera", "Manhattan".

As many might believe, this is not simply a revival of "80s trash music," but rather a use of the stereotypes and styles typical of those years, reinterpreted and used today to express completely different and not necessarily optimistic feelings.
This mini-CD contains a tiny part of the vast repertoire of pieces, so I recommend all interested parties to see a concert by The Andy Dandy, as they give their best precisely in live performances!
