THE REVIEW

Music for stage diving, for mosh pits!

Only one EP published, this one here, went down in history... and what a damaging history!

From New York, from the underground of the Big Apple comes this filthy congregation.

They were pioneers of that Hardcore sound, along with the even more immense Agnostic Front, which then spread all over the globe.

Scarcely ten minutes for a handful of songs that ooze anger, sweat, unbridled passion.

Torrential, primordial violence.

Played all in one pestilential breath; recorded, I assume, with only a few tens of dollars available.

Little can be understood in the tangle of instruments played, or rather sodomized might be better; everything is mixed, closed, obscene, indecent.

With the voice overshadowing the rest, rendering the bass practically inaudible.

Aural shred played at insane speed...NUCLEAR THREAT is the clear example.

Shocking... shock yourself as I often do...

Diabolos Rising 666.

Summary by Bot

The Abused's Loud and Clear EP is a seminal hardcore punk release from New York's underground scene. The short, intense tracks deliver raw energy, passion, and furious speed. Despite its rough production and chaotic mix, it remains a cornerstone of hardcore punk history. Its primal sound and aggressive style emphasize the band's influence alongside peers like Agnostic Front. This EP is perfect for fans of intense mosh pit music and punk authenticity.
