This album marks a definite change of direction for the New Orleans duo, Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper, who from experimental electronics à la Aphex Twin (of which they seem to only want to leave a memory of the past days with 'What Is Without The Hand That Wields It') move towards refined electronic rhythms. Sprinklings of soul and slow atmospheres that remind us of Massive, unexpectedly getting lively at times, or even reaching the limits of house with My Week Beats Your Year.
I've read several times that TTA have simply decided to cash in... HURRAY!! If this is the new commercial trend, I'm happy!
