Tarr Madì is a versatile artist who loves to explore all forms of art, especially music and drawing, which are now part of his thirty-year career.

Six years after his last work: Le Cose Di Henry, praised by critics, this work was released in 2005, entitled: Queste 4 Cose. 12 tracks plus a brief introduction and an epilogue. Six tracks are original, one written in collaboration with the poet Fausto Maria Pico, who is also featured in the CD pack with a booklet containing the poem: Un Riverbero Freddo

The music ranges across all known genres, classic singer-songwriter, rock, blues, and even a light sprinkle of noise.

The original tracks are interspersed with covers, among which stand out: Saigon by De Gregori and Kleenex by the good Faust'o. Up to a thrilling version of Stand By Me where, while keeping the metric of the original track, the glacial arrangements give it a post-modern attire.

A CD that, given the presence of a track by Faust'o, could not be missing from my CD collection.

Un Riverbero di Freddo

In the darkness where darkness
Spreads brief gleams of light
They say
Of a sun you cannot see
Beyond the wall of the mind
It extends
Others choose the path
We watch them arrive
When they come
When they go
-as far as the eye can see-
We let them go
But an ulcer is the stigma of a smile
It is the silence that I ask
Not the word that defines
There the sun is not
Dark is the truth
That is in a cry
Closely joined to sorrow
For the breath of others
Life recognized in what
That we are not?..
