tapesfromtheloop is a project played, written, and produced by William Buscicchio, a bassist and artist from Salento.
The tracks on "Soundrafts Collection" appear as brief instrumental soundtracks, a true collection of 'sound drafts.'
The album released in digital stores in 2024 has received excellent feedback on streaming platforms, reaching over 100K streams, particularly abroad.

The first track is: "IN," where a piano makes its way through layers of synths and electric guitars.
One immediately understands the passion for bands like "Radiohead" and "Air." "Vortex" is a little gem, the track is driven by a very dark bass in Simon Gallup style and a chilling drum machine, the synths and background sounds are unsettling and prepare for the final explosion of a well-constructed track that strongly calls back to early "Cure" and late "D.Bowie".
"Glimmer" is a short track, sweet and melancholic, simple yet unique, with bass and guitar enhanced by ethereal delays and reverbs.
"Duloxetina" is another beautiful track that might have lent itself to a true song in the "Interpol" style.
"Star Chase" is the most cheerful track and also closest to alternative rock, reminiscent of "Radiohead" from "The Bends". It is indeed, along with "Greenpool," the track that has been most successful in streaming and on foreign Spotify playlists.
"Neural" is a particular interlude in this album, it feels like listening to a 'drunken' synth in its oscillations between noise modulations and R2-D2 sounds reminiscent of "Star Wars".
"EXT" closes the album: it is an ambient and poetic track that begins with a hopeful mood but ends with dark tones, probably alluding to something that is ending and will cease to exist, it almost seems like a cry for help.

In conclusion, we can say this is truly an album that goes straight to the heart, and this musical genre is rarely explored in Italy. We recommend listening for lovers of ambient and instrumental music, chill-wave.
As mentioned at the beginning of the review, this album deliberately appears as something unfinished, drafts of soundtracks, precisely "Soundrafts Collection".
