Swing Out Sister are an English pop/sophisti-pop group formed in the mid-1980s, fronted by vocalist Corinne Drewery with Andy Connell. Their 1987 debut It's Better To Travel featured the hit single "Breakout".

Corinne Drewery was a model and fashion creator before fronting the group. Early lineup included Martin Jackson (formerly of Magazine); Andy Connell was formerly associated with A Certain Ratio. Their music blends jazz, soul and pop. They have had sustained popularity in Japan and released a live DVD titled Private View + Tokyo Stories (2012).
