The Profile

American hardcore band formed in San Diego in 1994 around Justin Pearson; active until 1997 and considered seminal in the experimental hardcore / early screamo scene.

The group's self-titled 7" EP contains 5 tracks totaling 10:10 and includes a version of Joy Division's "Warsaw." Justin Pearson was the singer and bassist and later founded the independent label Three One G. Swing Kids influenced bands such as The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower, Orchid and others, and their brief run is often cited as formative for many Pearson projects.

Swing Kids are an American experimental hardcore band formed in 1994 around Justin Pearson.
