THE REVIEW

Not bad this EP from 1989, by the Swedish Svart Sno! 4 tracks, for a total of 9 minutes of good hardcore, enhanced by the violent and biting voice of the singer Fabbe, and the oppressive wall of guitars erected by bassist Tonken, and guitarist Peken, always at good levels throughout the entire platter.

The opening of this work is entrusted to "Det Hande Anda": the graceless and paced 30-second introduction deceives, only to then burst in all its brazenness for the remaining 3 minutes, where it’s the furious riffs of our guys, and the never too tame lines of the excellent Fabbe, that give the right tone to this good episode. In the same vein, but even more aggressive and fast, the raw "Moralkakor", undoubtedly the peak of the record, finds Fabbe still in great form, the drumming becomes sharper and more corrosive, just like in "Doda Mig" which, helped by excellent screaming and choruses, keeps the destructive level of this EP high, which closes with the title track "Ren, Säker Och Billig", a slightly subdued track.

Recording is mediocre, particularly affecting the work of drummer Piffen, too often overshadowed by the barrier raised by the other members. The band would dissolve 8 years later, but there are several good works left as their legacy, in addition to the one reviewed here, particularly noteworthy is the follow-up "Den Civiliserade Apan"!
