It starts off well, with tracks that exude joy and have a precise and steady drive, this album of good country-pop enriched by a particularly clear and incisive voice.
Then it gradually gets a bit lost in rather conventional ballads, alternating more successful tracks with others that might be forgettable.
Overall, therefore, a pleasant album with musicians (and a singer) definitely worth appreciating, but it fails to soar towards goals of excellence.
