Survivor is an American rock band formed in 1978, best known for their 1982 single "Eye of the Tiger" (written/co-written by Jim Peterik) which featured on the Rocky III soundtrack. Original vocalist Dave Bickler sang on the hit; Jimi Jamison became lead vocalist on later albums including Vital Signs (1984).
