The Supergrass are back!!!!!!!
It's true, it's just a greatest hits, but it once again showcases the freshness, power, and infinite melodic vein of the Oxford quartet. Gaz and company are celebrating ten years of career (excluding their now distant beginnings with The Jennifers) with this release in both CD and double DVD.
Two new tracks, so different from one another that they demonstrate how these boys have not lost the will to experiment and the ability to amaze; the first of the two, Bullet, is a rock bullet that travels with rawness and speed from the first to the last second. BEAUTIFUL. The second, Kiss Of Life, is a marvel of colors and sharp sounds to dance to, the product of a creative art outside the norm. While waiting for new work (Supergrass are now dedicated to recreating bucolic sounds secluded in a farm in France), all I can do is recommend this CD and continue to listen to it until the unlikely boredom.

Supergrass are an English rock band from Oxford formed in 1993 by Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn, and Danny Goffey; Rob Coombes later joined as a full-time keyboardist. They broke through with I Should Coco and the hit Alright, evolved through the introspective Supergrass (1999) and Road to Rouen, and returned to louder guitars on Diamond Hoo Ha.
