The Subliminal Crusher project began in 2002, and the intentions of the tricolor quintet were immediately clear: Violent Metal, direct...DESTRUCTIVE!

They stood out with live performances (alongside Necrodeath and Entombed), noted for their technical ability, but above all for their compositional skill. In 2005, their first album was finally born: Antithesis. To best describe it, I can only say it's an authentic "blow to the teeth"!... Thrash Metal with "Sepultura-like" influences, and above all, never monotonous, capable of keeping the listener in a frenzy for the entire duration of the album. The record begins with extraterrestrial sounds (whistles and various stuff), accompanied by the wild screams of Tooz, followed by a massive riff, and when the rhythmic session kicks in, the scene is complete: we are in front of an extreme record that hits hard! In my opinion, "Affection" is the track that grabs the most, the one that symbolizes the essence of the album, but I also highlight "Technocratic" and "Slavery" (with a beginning reminiscent of Cavalera & co.), and everything concludes with "Into the Pit", a Testament cover. Great performances from the S.C. members: Tooz's voice is always powerful and at times accompanied by wild choruses; the two guitarists, Elvys and Hatewerk, are a force of nature, with their smashing riffs and solos always impressive and never predictable; Rodeath's pounding drums are a fundamental backbone; lastly, I praise the bassist, Jerico, who manages to give that extra push to the whole ensemble (with very nasty distortions and effects!).

For fans of Thrash Metal, and extreme music in general, this is one of those essential records that does not fear the competition of sacred monsters... ON THE CONTRARY!
