Strokes

The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1998, fronted by Julian Casablancas. They rose to prominence with their early 2000s albums.

Debut album 'Is This It' was released in 2001. Julian Casablancas is the band's lead singer. The band shifted toward synth and '80s-influenced sounds on later releases such as Comedown Machine.
