Stream of Passion is a progressive/symphonic metal band formed in 2005 by Dutch composer Arjen Anthony Lucassen, featuring Mexican vocalist Marcela Bovio on early records. The band's music blends progressive structures with melodic, emotional vocals and acoustic string arrangements.

Formed in 2005 by Arjen Anthony Lucassen; Marcela Bovio (Mexican) is lead vocalist on Embrace the Storm; debut album Embrace the Storm (2005) contains Spanish-language lyrics on the track "Nostalgia"; early line-up included Lori Linstruth (guitar), Johan Van Stratum (bass) and Davy Mickers (drums).

A highly positive review of Embrace the Storm praising Marcela Bovio's warm, technically strong and emotionally charged vocals, the organic instrumentation (acoustic strings, violin), and the band's focus on emotional immediacy within a progressive-metal framework.

For:Fans of progressive and symphonic metal who appreciate strong melodic vocals, violin arrangements and emotionally driven songwriting.

The eclectic singer lends her enveloping and warm voice, technically impeccable and emotionally charged for every single track, crafting a performance that would be limiting to merely call excellent.
