Freeing oneself from their demons, brutally. This must have been what frontman William Jarratt thought when he took the pen in hand to give life to the lyrics of "Sin Will Find You". And believe me, he did it with such brutality in the concepts that it even seems improper. We're not talking about something "marketable", because never before could we speak of a real diary written by the person involved, who must not have had an easy time these years. If you need an immediate example, go watch the video of "Lilac" and you’ll immediately understand what I mean. Freeing oneself from people's prejudices about one's identity, as well as from drug problems and not being accepted, is not exactly simple, and doing it in such a public manner is certainly not for everyone. As you may have guessed, the main feature of this album is its lyrics, but truthfully speaking, even artistically, this product is not bad at all. The softer and more delicate side of rock, made of those pastel colors that fill its artwork and that rock elegance that bands like Placebo and Stereophonics have in their DNA. Storm The Sky are a relatively new face, especially compared to their past more tied to the alternative/"core" scene—something truly pleasant to listen to and brutally hard in its concepts. Simply controversial.
